Larder & Home is the partnership between Byng Street Local Store and Juliet Horsley Home, which opened in September 2020.
Husband and wife team Jeremy (Larder) and Juliet (Home) Norris have combined their strengths under the one roof in Lucknow, an historic mining village just outside Orange, NSW. Nestled on the banks of Summer Hill Creek, Larder & Home combines country fare, delicious coffee and woodfire pizzas alongside a carefully curated selection of homewares, furniture and linen bedding.

Juliet and Jeremy Norris

Juliet started her homewares business in Melbourne in 2002 and after 6 years decided it was time to head back to the country. In 2009 Juliet Horsley Home opened in Mudgee, which is where she met now husband Jeremy. In 2011 Juliet joined Jeremy in Orange and opened up Juliet Horsley Home in the old Union Bank building, before taking a break in 2016 to focus on family with the arrival of Monty and then Maggie. When the opportunity to take over the space in Lucknow became available Juliet felt this was the perfect location and time to get back into business, and as they had always wanted to do something together who better to partner with than Jeremy.

“I was feeling the need to get back into business and Jeremy had always wanted to do something together. We saw the space at Lucknow and knew right away was perfect for our vision. We love it out here and hope that everyone else will too.”

Jeremy has working in the hospitality industry for nearly 30 years, having started straight out of school. His passion for food and the industry have taken him all over Australia and the world, having worked in Edinburgh, London and across Europe before finding his way back to Australian and to Orange in 2010, where he purchased what is now the Byng Street Local Store. After extensive renovations it opened its doors in 2011 and this year has celebrated their 10th year of trade. In that time Jeremy has gone on to open 7 more locations, the most recent within the newly renovated Dubbo Hospital.
